The Houston Area chamber of Commerce will host a demolition derby beginning at 7 p.m. this Saturday (Sept. 29) inside the arena at the county fairgrounds on North U.S. 63.
Grandstand admission is $10, or $5 for kids ages 6 to 12. Children 5-and-under get in for free. Pit passes are available for $25, regardless of age.
Car registration begins at noon and entrants must be registered by 4 p.m. to avoid a penalty. The cost is $20 per driver and $20 per rider.
A Power Wheels competition is also planned for kids ages 3 to 9. There is no registration fee.
