Eight Houston High School students were chosen for the All District Honors Choir following auditions Sept. 15 at Kickapoo High School in Springfield.
Earning the honors were: Summer Floyd, Lucas Bailey, Jaekan Moss, Emily Scott, Haley Wilber, Wyatt Rist, Zach Brannan and Mackenzie Cooper.
The honors choir will perform Nov. 3 at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar.
