The Houston JV volleyball team went 4-0 Saturday to win the Bourbon Tournament.
The Lady Tigers edged the hosts Bourbon 25-19, 24-26, 17-15 in the championship match.
Sarah Purcell had 14 kills and Prairie Nunnery added 10 in the tournament. Nunnery and Kellsi Gayer had eight kills apiece.
Gayer had a team-best 37 assists. Saydie Hughes had 14 digs.
Houston beat Bourbon 25-18, 25-18 and Plato #1 25-21, 25-13 in pool play. In bracket play, the Lady Tigers rallied past Plato #2 18-25, 25-20, 15-8 to advance to the title game.
