The Houston Middle School volleyball teams opened their seasons Tuesday night with road losses at Winona.
In the seventh-grade match, Addison Cook had three aces in the Lady Tigers’ 25-17, 25-7 de-feat. Victoria McCarty added two aces and Angeline Smith had one.
Karly Drake had three kills and Makenzie Arthur added two in the eighth grade’s 25-5, 25-7 loss.
Both teams home Raymondville on Thursday.
