Summersville emergency personnel responded Saturday afternoon to a crash. 

Two persons were seriously injured Saturday afternoon north of Summersville when a truck overturned, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Tpr. J.M. Kenyon said a northbound 2000 Ford F-150 left a gravel road, traveled off the left side of a Shannon County road, overturned and ejected a passenger, Mary B. Sloan, 22, of West Plains. Rescue workers said Sloan, who was not wearing a seat belt, is pregnant. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was William R. Leggett, 55, of Houston. 

Sloan was taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield. Leggett was transported by air ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. 

The vehicle was totaled. Members of the Summersville Fire Department assisted on County Road 349, which is seven miles north of Summersville.

EARLIER: The Summersville Fire Department responded to a one-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in Shannon County. 

The rollover crash occurred on County Road 349 between Highway JJ and K. Two persons were reported injured, including a pregnant woman. A medical helicopter was deployed.
