Houston police handled investigations during the last week. 

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Jason M. McGrath, 44, of 300 Ozark St. in Houston, was cited for driving while suspended after a traffic stop Oct. 3 on Ozark Street.

•Sandra K. Eaton, 66, of 17237 Highway Y at Elk Creek, was issued a citation for failure to yield right-of -way after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 4:30 p.m. Oct. 8.

•Sarah L. Christeson, 32, of 17303 Solo Road at Houston, was cited Oct. 8 for failure to stop at a posted stop sign.

•Vincent K. Bates, 46, of 223 Chestnut Terrace in Houston, was issued citations for displaying the plates of another and no insurance after a traffic stop on Ozark Street at about 1:45 p.m. Oct. 8.

•An officer was dispatched at about 4:45 p.m. Oct. 2 regarding a domestic dispute in the parking lot at the Office Bar in downtown Houston.

The officer made contact with a 36-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man there. The man told the officer he and the woman had been arguing because she was already drunk and she was never happy. The woman said they hadn’t been arguing. The 12-hour rule was invoked.

•Jason D. Schafer, 28, of 255 N. Fredrick St. in Houston, was arrested Oct. 11 for having an active Texas County felony warrant for DWI, possession of a controlled substance and driving without a valid license. An officer who knew of the warrant made the arrest at Schafer’s residence. He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $150,000 bond.
