Two arrested on drug charges in county

Two West Plains residents face drug charges following their arrest Thursday night in Texas County.

Michael D. Edwards, 40, is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, wearing no seat belt and possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana. 

Jason W. Clevenger, 41, is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance except 45 grams or less of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, having no insurance and wearing no seat belt. 

Both were taken to the Texas County Jail and later released.
