Accidents in Texas County on Wednesday injured two, said the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A Plato teenager was hurt in a 7:30 a.m. crash two miles south of Roby. Joel T. Rossignol, 16, of Plato, sustained minor injuries when his northbound 2001 Toyota Tacoma travelled off Highway 17, struck a fence and overturned. He was taken by a private vehicle to the hospital at Fort Leonard Wood. The vehicle had moderate damage.
A Summersville woman was injured at 3:15 p.m. when her northbound 1996 Chevrolet 1500 ran off the right side of Highway 17 about two miles south of Yukon, overturned and struck a fence. Whitney K. Jones, 23, was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. The vehicle had moderate damage.
Both wrecks were investigated by Tpr. Marty Wiseman of the patrol.
