In the first week of its launch, Share Your Christmas took registrations that would aid 86 children from 40 families, organizers said.
The campaign — designed to give a boost to deserving children around the holidays — is situated in the basement of the Lions Club den on North U.S. 63 in Houston. Hours are 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. through Dec. 7.
Persons also can receive suggestions for gifts off “Angel Trees” at Houston Walmart Supercenter, Simply Posh Day Spa, Houston Sonic and Houston Herald.
Pat Miller, who oversees the program, said the drive is “very much in need of new or gently used children’s clothing.”
There are many requests for children’s coats. Quilts, blankets and all kids of bedding are also much needed. All sizes of clothing, shoes, toys and household items are appreciated.

Here are cases 6-10:
Case No. 6: Two sisters, ages 7 and 8, would like to get some books or art supplies for their Christmas gifts. Clothing is needed in size 8 and 10-12 and shoes size 13 and size 3. Another sister, who is 2 years old, would like a baby doll and needs size 2T pants and shirts and size 5 toddler shoes.
Case No. 7: A 6-year-old boy needs size 7 pants and shirts and size 11 shoes. His toy wishes include Batman or Paw Patrol. A winter coat, socks and underwear are also needed for this child.
Case No. 8: Legos, cars, trucks and board games are on the Christmas wish list of these four boys, ages 10, 9, 4 and 2. The 10 year old needs size 12 jeans, size 14 shirts and size 3 shoes. Size 10 pants, 10-12 shirts and size 2 shoes are needed for the 9 year old. The 4 year old wears size 5 clothing and size 10 shoes and size 3T clothing and size 9 shoes are the needs of the 2 year-old boy.
Case No. 9: An 8-year-old girl would like a doll stroller or a new doll. She needs size 10 warm clothing and size 6 shoes.
Case No. 10: Size 8 winter clothing is needed for a 7-year-old girl, including socks, underwear and a winter coat. Size 2 girls shoes are also needed. Her toy wish is a Play-Doh set or some play make-up. Her 12-year-old brother would like a basketball or some cologne. Clothing sizes needed for him are boys 10-12 and shoes size 6. He is in need of a winter coat as well.
