The Houston Ministerial Alliance has partnered with Bright Futures Houston for a shoe drive.
The organization announced this week it is collecting shoes to benefit students in the Houston R-1 School District. There will be collection bins at Sunday’s 6 p.m. Thanksgiving service at the Melba Performing Arts Center as well as area churches.
Houston Schools said shoes in men’s sizes 9-12 and women’s sizes 6-9 are most needed. Athletic shoes are preferred. Shoes can be new or gently used.
