Elfride Wilhmine Stickert, 97, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, in Houston.
She was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Mainz, Germany. She and Walter Stickert were married in April 1950. He passed away in 2004.
She immigrated to the United States in 2005.
She enjoyed writing science fiction stories, puzzles and traveling with her daughter, Ingrid, who was an over-the-road truck driver.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Walter.
Survivors include two daughters, Ingrid White and Ursula Jellison; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
