The Melba Performing Arts Center announced Thursday several activities planned between now and the Christmas.
Here is a list of public events. (Other private events also are planned)
•Nov. 17 — 3 p.m. Miss Merrie Christmas
•Nov. 18 — 6 p.m. Community Thanksgiving service.
•Nov. 24 — 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Taste of Christmas; Star’s Quilt Sale
•Dec. 6 -7 — 7 p.m. Christmas in the Land of Oz.
•Dec. 8 — 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Christmas Skates, sponsored by Community Betterment and Arts Council of Houston Inc.

•Dec. 15 — 7 p.m. Winter Dance Recital.
