The Houston Middle School boys’ basketball teams lost a pair of home games Tuesday to Ava.

Brady Brookshire scored 10 points and John Kimrey added eight in the seventh grade’s 30-27 defeat.

In the eighth-grade game, Garyn Hall had nine points and Colton Stewart scored eight in the Tigers’ 43-24 defeat.
