Memorial gathering: 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Evans Funeral Home, Houston

Diana “Lynn” Foster, 53, daughter of John and Gwen (Parker) Foster was born April 15, 1965, in Indianapolis, Ind. She passed away Nov. 19, 2018, at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glen and Dorothy Parker and Clarena and Paul Foster.

She is survived by her parents, John and Gwen Foster of Solo, Mo.; one daughter, Stephanie of Solo, Mo.; one granddaughter, Adalyn; a brother, Wayne Foster of Oklahoma; a niece and nephew; and many friends who called her family.

Lynn grew up in the Houston area and graduated from Houston High School in 1984. She spent years working as a waitress and liked serving people. She received Christ as her Savior at a young age while living in West Virginia.

Lynn loved to collect rocks and enjoyed spending time in nature. She would spend hours walking creek beds and enjoying the quiet. Growing up on a farm she spent many years showing and milking cattle. But her favorite pastime was spending time with her granddaughter.

She was full of life and love and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial gathering is 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Evans Funeral Home with Jackie Cooper officiating. Services and cremation are under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
