The City of Houston has announced a New Year’s Day 5K.
The “New Year, New You!” race begins at 9 a.m. at Oakwood Golf Club east of Houston. The run is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department.
Cost is $25 to participate and includes a shirt as well as hot cocoa, fruit and medals. Shirts are guaranteed with registration by Dec. 12.
