A pedestrian was struck by a truck south of Summersville on Saturday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Marty Wiseman said a southbound 2001 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Jeremy Haynes, 45, of Mountain View, struck James A. Dooley, 44, of Mountain View, who was on Highway 17 about five miles south of Summersville.
Dooley, who had moderate injuries, was flown by air ambulance to Mercy in Springfield. Haynes, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured. The truck had minor damage.
