Steve Allen Crawford, 75, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at his home in Bucyrus.

He was born May 22, 1943, in Little Rock, Ark., son of Steven Andrew and Sibyl Jennette Hardester Crawford. He and Sandra Kay Arnold were married Dec. 8, 1966, in Clayton.

He grew up in Little Rock, Ark., where he attended school. He served in the Navy from Oct. 23, 1961, until he was honorably discharged Feb. 21, 1966.

He worked as an electrician for McDonnell Douglas and retired after 30 years.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, taking care of animals and spending time with friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Hardester.

Survivors include three children, Bob Crawford, Tausha Schultz and Steve Crawford, II; his wife, Sandra Crawford; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
