A Raymondville woman was seriously injured Monday in a crash three miles east of Houston.

A Cabool man was injured Wednesday morning when after slowing his vehicle for a deer in the roadway, it was struck by another vehicle.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Fredrick M. Donaway, 76, was traveling eastbound on Highway 32 four miles west of Salem when the 11 a.m. accident occurred. The 2002 Toyota Tundra he was driving was struck in the rear by a 2008 Ford Focus driving by Elizabeth M. Becherer, 18, of Salem.

Donaway was taken by private vehicle to Salem Memorial Hospital. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The Ford Focus had extensive damage. The Toyota Tundra had minor damage.
