Garyn Hall scored 20 of his 22 points in the first half as the Houston eighth-grade boys’ basketball team cruised past Cabool 51-18 Wednesday afternoon.

Colton Stewart added 12 points for the Tigers, who led 18-4 after the opening quarter and by 24 points at the half en route to their third victory.

The game was played during the day to allow the Cabool student body to attend. The two schools have agreed to occasionally play during the school day.

SEVENTH GRADE: John Kimrey scored 14 points in the Tigers’ 48-34 loss Wednesday at Cabool. Brady Brookshire added eight points.
