The Houston Police Department handled several investigations in the last week.

The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Colleen S. Schondel, 73, of 12381 Taylor Lane, Apt. 2, in Plato, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated (drugs), failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, no seat belt and no insurance after a traffic stop on Holder Drive at about 11:10 p.m. Nov. 27.

An officer made the stop after observing a white Ford sedan traveling on the wrong side of the roadway. After making contact with the driver, the officer conducted field sobriety tests. Schondel was taken to the Texas County Jail, fingerprinted and released to a sober relative.

•An officer was dispatched to Forbes Pharmacy at about 11:40 a.m. Nov. 24 regarding a harassment complaint.

Dispatch advised that a 35-year-old man was at the store claiming to be followed around by a group of people. The officer made contact with the man and he stated the people following him were everywhere in the store. The officer observed that the man’s speech was confused and his hands were shaking badly, and asked him if he could be hallucinating.

The man said he could be and admitted that he had snorted methamphetamine earlier in the day. The officer asked if he had anything illegal on him and man said he didn’t and gave consent to search him.

During the search, the officer found a plastic bag containing meth in the man’s pocket. He was taken to jail and a report was sent to the county prosecutor.

•Morgan C. Jackson, 41, of 902 W. Highway 17 in Houston, was cited for driving while revoked or suspended (third or more offense) after a traffic stop on Walnut Street at about 10:30 p.m. Nov. 26.

•Eric J. Buell, 35, of 422 King Street in Houston, was arrested Nov. 25 for having an active Texas County warrant for driving without a valid license (third offense or more). The arresting officer had just contacted Buell at Texas County Memorial Hospital regarding a reported disturbance, and after releasing him was advised that he had a warrant.

The officer re-contacted Buell in the Taco Bell parking lot and made the arrest. He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he posted $25,000 bond and was released.

•Dalton L. Transmeier, 25, of 1316 Briarwood, in Houston, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 4:10 p.m. Nov. 21.

•Joshua K. Wilson, 38, of 16904 Sunset Drive in Houston, was cited for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 2:30 p.m. Nov. 10.

•James D. Fiske Jr., 44, of RR 61 Box 156 in Summersville, was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 9:25 a.m. Nov. 24.

•Andrew B. Lewis, 29, of 11871 S. U.S. 63 in Licking, was cited for driving with a suspended license on Oct. 29.

•Dorothy A. Dewitt, 69, of 309 Broadway Ave. in Houston, was cited for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident at First and Mill streets at about 11:15 a.m. Nov. 30.

•Courtney P. Owens, 37, of 2795 Highway PP at Cabool, was cited for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident at Highway 17 and Dooley Street at about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 26.

•Destany M. Lam, 18, of 619 Sommerfield Drive in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $750 after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on Nov. 21.
