Graveside services for Mrs. Joyce A. Flowers Engel, 81, of Henderson, Texas, are 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at Duncan Cemetery with Dr. David Higgs officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.
Mrs. Engel was born Aug. 14, 1937, in Houston, Mo. She went home to be with her Lord on December 10, 2018, at Brookdale of Henderson. Joyce was a member of First Baptist Church of Henderson, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Flowers and Mildred Crawford Flowers Coats; one brother, John Flowers; and daughter, Rhonda Beth Heim.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Engel of Henderson, Texas; her son, Kirk Engel of Englewood, Colo.; sister, Betty Lou Glasson and husband, Bobbie, of Portland, Texas; one granddaughter, Kyla De La Garza and husband, Ricky, of Henderson, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Maci and one great-grandson, Cian Pierce De la Garza; and a host of nieces and nephews in Texas and three cousins in Missouri of whom she loved to go visit.
