A Mountain Grove man was arrested on several charges — include child neglect — early Sunday in Texas County.
Jeffery W. Whitman, 48, is charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and wearing no seat belt. He was also wanted on a Wright County warrant for child neglect.
He was taken to the Texas County Jail after the 1:49 a.m. arrest.
