Attention hunters. The Missouri Conservation Commission has approved dates for the 2019 turkey and deer hunting seasons.

The Missouri Department of Conservation made the recommendations at its Dec. 14 meeting. Here are the dates:

Spring and fall turkey hunting:

•Spring youth: April 6-7.

•Spring regular season: April 15 through May 5.

•Fall firearms: Oct. 1 – 31.

Archery deer and turkey hunting:

•Session 1: Sept. 15 – Nov. 15.

•Session 2: Nov. 27 – Jan. 25, 2010.

Firearms deer hunting:

•Early youth: Nov. 2-3.

•Regular: Nov. 16-26.

•Late youth: Nov. 29 – Dec. 1

•Anterless: Dec. 6-8.

•Alternative methods: Dec. 28 – Jan. 7.

Both will be available where permits are sold prior to the related seasons.
