Norma Jean Hutsell, 85, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 2, 1933, in Waynesville, son of Homer and Ruth Daugherity Collins.
She loved working outside. She told her granddaughter that she felt closest to God when she was in the woods. She loved gardening. She loved to feed and watch the hummingbirds.
She was saved as a young girl.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Hutsell; two brothers, Russell Dean Collins and Carl Collins; and a daughter, Donna Kornegay.
Survivors five children Bruce Dean Hutsell of Houston, William David Hutsell of Bucyrus and Linda Lansdown of Bucyrus, Debra Hutsell of Waynesville and Dianna Barnes of Tennessee Ridge, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and many other family members.
Memorial services were Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Evans Funeral Home.
