Citations were written after several investigations during the last week.

The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Pamela A. Chapman, 59, of 1235 Ozark St. in Houston, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large on Dec. 6.

•Bobby H. Amburn, 50, of 8186 Mineral Drive in Houston, was issued a citation Nov. 28 for driving while intoxicated – drugs.

Amburn was cited after an investigation of a single-vehicle crash of a red 2010 Ford Escape at about 7:40 p.m. on Oak Hill Drive. An investigating officer noticed that Amburn’s speech was slurred and he seemed confused before being removed from the rolled-over vehicle. Once extricated, Amburn reportedly was staggering and unable to stand on his own, and the officer observed that his eyes were constricted and didn’t respond to having light shined on them.

Amburn was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment, and further investigation revealed he had reportedly ingested an undetermined type or amount of drugs. A blood sample was taken and sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol lab.

•Tyler T. Shea, 22, of 220 W. Pine St. in Houston, was cited on Dec. 13 for failure to register a motor vehicle.

•William D. Corman, 45, of 104 Cedar St. in Houston, was arrested Dec. 11 for having an active Texas County warrant for delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

An officer made the arrest at Cornman’s residence. He was taken to jail with a bond set at $150,000.
