A Raymondville woman was seriously injured Monday in a crash that ejected her from her vehicle east of Houston, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Jacob Sellars said a westbound 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Erica S. Woolsey, 26, failed to negotiate a curve, ran off Highway B and overturned before throwing her out of the truck.

She was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

Sellars said she was not wearing a seatbelt. The truck was totaled.

Assisting at the scene were Sgt. George Falterman and Tpr. Justice Simpson. The Houston Rural Fire Department Rescue Squad also responded.
