Robert James”Bobby” Terry, 30, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, in Houston.

He was born March 24, 1988, in Scottsdale, Ariz., son of Patrick Terry and Carol Woodring Evenson. He and Jamie Terry were married in March 2008.

He grew up in Phoenix, Ariz., and moved to Houston in 2006.

He joined the Army National Guard in 2008. He completed one tour in Afghanistan. He made many friends and enjoyed serving his country.

He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ken Evenson.

Survivors include his wife, Jamie Terry; two daughters, Zoey Terry of the home and Marley Palmer of Arizona; his mother, Carol Evenson of Arizona; a brother Steven of Arizona; two stepbrothers, Rusty and Jim Evenson of Arizona; and several other family and friends.

Graveside services with full military honors were Wednesday, Dec. 19, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Fort Leonard Wood, with Pastor Paul Murray officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Robert Terry Memorial Fund.
