Belinda Sue Keeling, 61, daughter of Leola Schoonover Buffington and William Buffington Sr., was born May 4, 1957, in Canton, Ill. Sue passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 26, 2018, at her home in Eminence.
Sue was united in marriage to Larry Keeling on April 10, 1982. To their union two daughters were born, Danielle Huddleston and Sarah Keeling.
Sue was a member of the Jacks Fork Country Church, Missouri State Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Gamma Society for key women educators and Missouri Retired Teachers Association.
She enjoyed traveling, reading and loved learning, spending time with family and friends, gardening, decorating and collecting.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Nellie Schoover; grandparents, Marion and Neldon Schoonover; and a brother, Steve Coats.
She is survived by her husband of Eminence; daughters, Danielle of Lee’s Summit, and Sarah Keeling of Rolla; parents of Eminence; sister, Liddell Swanson of Eminence; step-brother, Chuck Buffington of Rolla, step-sister, Linda Mucha of Chicago, Ill., step-brother, Sam Buffington of Colorado Springs, Colo., and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel, Summersville, with the Rev. Howell Burkhead and Tommy Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Summers Cemetery under the care of Bradford Funeral Home of Summersville. Online condolences may be left at bradfordfuneralhome.net
