The Texas County Farm Bureau was honored this month with a special project award during the 104th annual meeting of Missouri Farm Bureau at Lake of the Ozarks.
Texas County won for its “Ag Expo” held annually for fourth-grade students in all county schools. County Farm Bureau president Michael Luerssen accepted the award from Missouri Farm Bureau president Blake Hurst.
Only one special project award is presented in each of the organization’s seven membership categories, with each winning a $100 cash.
