Breanna Davidson, 23, of Houston, is one of three people facing multiple charges for allegedly assaulting a man inside a Bryan Street home Saturday. The other suspects are at large.

Three people face multiple charges after allegedly luring a man into a Houston home to assault him on Dec. 15.

The Houston Police Department said Andrew Morrison, 29, Breanna Davidson, 23, and Erica R. Johnson, 20, convinced Johnson’s former boyfriend to come to the residence with the plans to “get even” with him, according to the probable cause statement. Once the man set foot inside the home – at 903 Bryan Street where Morrison and Davidson live – a blanket was thrown over the victim’s head and the trio proceeded to beat him. Johnson allegedly hit the victim over the head with a ceramic bowl, causing a wound that required 20 stitches.

Police initially responded to the scene at 5:40 p.m. after reports of an alleged drive-by shooting that is still under investigation. The assault victim and a teenage male are suspects in the shooting. No one was struck by the gunfire.

Morrison, Davidson and Johnson were charged with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery (both class A felonies) and misdemeanor making a false report. Johnson, who lives at 1026 W. Highway 17, is also charged with felony armed criminal action.

Davidson is held in the Texas County Jail on $500,000 bond while Johnson and Morrison were both on the run, according to police. Bonds for the fugitives are also set at $500,000.

Authorities said while the victim was on the ground after being assaulted, Morrison allegedly removed his wallet from his pocket and checked it for money – because Johnson had allegedly said the victim had taken her money. Also during the scuffle, a .25 caliber pistol that was in the victim’s possession fell on the floor and discharged one shot.

All three suspects initially lied about the incident, claiming the victim had barged into the home and attempted to assault them, police said. They all later changed their stories and confessed to the crimes.
