BRAD EVANS

Long-time Houston Police Department officer Brad Evans has been named a lieutenant with the agency.

The announcement was made during a meeting of the Houston City Council, which approved the recommendation of Police Chief Tim Ceplina.

Evans, 36, is in his third stint with Houston police. The first was December 2003 until May 2006 and the second from 2008 until January 2018. He was promoted to sergeant in October 2015 and was the City of Houston’s economic development director from March through June 2018 before deciding he wanted to continue to serve in law enforcement.
