Harold John Reynolds Jr, 70, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at his home in Plato.

He was born Feb. 9, 1948, in Sedro Woolley, Wash., son of Harold June and Hazel Mae Carson Reynolds.

He grew up in California and graduated from Poway High School with the class of 1967.

He served in the Army in Vietnam, Germany, Panama, Dougway Proving Ground, Utah and Fort Leonard Wood as an engineer. He retired May 31, 1991, as a sergeant first class.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, hiking and anything outdoors. He also loved to use his mechanical talents.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Reynolds.

Survivors include four children, Rick Reynolds, Justin Reynolds, Jessica Reynolds and Jennifer Johnson; nine grandchildren; a brother, James Reynolds; a sister, Judy Riggs; and two nieces.

Graveside services with full military honors were Tuesday, Jan. 29, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Fort Leonard Wood, with Pastor David Barbee officiating.
