Highway work is planned in Texas County, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Highway AV in Texas County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace pipe beneath the roadway. The section is from U.S. 60 to the end of state maintenance. Weather permitting, work will be performed 6:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, through Friday, Jan. 18.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area and to seek an alternate route during work hours. Road will be open to local traffic only.
Highway 137 in Howell and Texas counties will be reduced to one lane while Missouri Department of Transportation crews cut brush and trim trees. The section is from Highway HH in Howell County to Highway Y in Texas County Weather permitting, work will occur 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, through Friday, Jan. 11.
