Johnny Arthur Rodgers, 63, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2019, on his farm.
He was born Sept. 27, 1955, at Salem Hospital, son of Roscoe and Marie Rodgers. He and Tressia Lou Jones were married May 31, 1974.
He loved farm life, hunting and fishing. He loved nothing more than his family. He was known as “Pa” to his grandchildren.
He dedicated his life to the Lord as a child and was baptized at Boone Creek Church.
He served on many boards, including MFA, Licking Schools and Boone Creek Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Tressia; a daughter, Lynette Sundell; a son, Josh Rodgers; two sisters, Ann Fox and Judy Shelton; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were Thursday, Jan. 24, in Boone Creek Cemetery with Robert Gifford officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Sonshine & Rainbow Day School or Boone Creek Youth.
