A Neosho woman was seriously injured Friday afternoon when her vehicle crossed a snow-covered U.S. 63 centerline south of Licking and struck a tractor-trailer unit, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Cpl. Terry Nelson said Cassandra J. Sisco, 25, was the driver of the northbound 2007 Mazda that struck the southbound 2016 Volvo rig operated by Douglas L. Cheek, 56, of Salem, Ark.
Sisco, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. The other driver was not injured, said Nelson.
The car was totaled, and the tractor-trailer had moderate damage.
