Two persons received moderate injuries Friday afternoon in a Highway E accident north of Houston, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Courtney R. Camden, 21, of Summersville, was driving a northbound 2007 Dodge Caliber that ran off the left side of the slick roadway and struck a tree.
Camden and a passenger, Samantha D. Brooks, 18, of Houston, were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Neither was wearing a seat belt, said Tpr. Jason Sentman.
Assisting Sentman were Tpr. Marty Wiseman and the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.
