Inge Oliver was born on May 24 1935, to the late Ludwig Heil and Elsbeth Widdel- Kuster, in Kassel, Germany. She went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, Feb 9, 2019, in her son’s home in Evening Shade, Mo., having attained the age of 83.

Inge grew up in Germany, where she attended school and met a handsome young United States Army soldier named Melvin “Jack” Oliver. They were united in marriage on Feb. 17, 1954, in Fulda, Germany. To this loving and everlasting relationship of 55 years, they were blessed with five children.

Due to Jack being in the military, Inge and the family moved to different duty stations over the years. In 1971, they were stationed at Ft Leonard Wood, where Jack retired and they remained in Evening Shade to raise their family.

Inge loved her family tremendously. She was a strong women with a kind heart. She loved to cook. She loved to read, especially mystery novels, crossword puzzles, coloring and tending to her plants. She was a member of Plato Chapter #240 Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin “Jack;” and her son, Larry “Butch” Oliver.

She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Our hearts are heavy, and she will be sorely missed. Although she is gone, her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
