Two Texas County teenagers — one of them injured seriously — were involved Friday in a crash west of Simmons.
Tpr. Jason Sentman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a southbound 2018 Polaris UTV Ranger driven by Bailey M. Moore, 17, travelled off the right side of Ridgeview Road and overturned, ejecting the driver and a passenger, Emma S. Bryant, 16, of Raymondville.
Bryant was sent to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston and airlifted to Cox South in Springfield. Moore went by private vehicle to TCMH.
Assisting at the scene was Cpl. Travis Brown.
The UTV was totaled, Sentman said.
