A Bucyrus man was charged Thursday night with assaulting a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Kolton C. Morgan, 22, was taken to the Texas County Jail for a 24-hour hold. The assault charge was in the fourth degree.
