After 25 years working as finance manager at Romines Motor Co. in Houston, Harold Wiggs retired last week. His final day at the Ford and Lincoln dealership was last Friday.

Wiggs spent 50 years working in the automotive field, beginning in April 1969 at McCallister Volkswagen in Springfield, where he eventually met his wife, Bobbie. He went on to work at six other dealerships, including Romines, where he was honored last Friday with a retirement party attended by dozens of family members, friends and former customers.

Wiggs also has 56 years of experience in the radio field, and owns and operates a gospel music station, KGMA (which live streams online at kgmalive.com and broadcasts at 90.9 FM). He intends to turn his focus to the station.
