As the 2019 season approaches, the Houston High School baseball and softball teams will play in preseason jamborees Monday at Alton.
The Tigers will face Couch at 5:30 p.m. and Alton at 7 p.m.
The Lady Tigers will play Eminence at 5:30 p.m. and Alton at 7 p.m.
The HHS baseball team opens its season March 16 in the Van Buren Wood Bat Classic. The Tigers play Lesterville at 11:30 a.m. and Naylor at 3 p.m.
The following week, the Tigers host their own wood bat tournament.
The HHS softball team starts its season March 15 at Eminence. The Lady Tigers’ home opener is March 21 against Bourbon.Â
