The Houston Garden Club is seeking additional members to continue the tradition of the organization in Houston.

The Houston Garden Club has been a part of the community for 55 years. During this time, the Garden Club members have beautified the post office front garden, planted seeds with the kindergarteners each spring, provided seedlings through annual plant and bake sales, participated in yearly garden tours, treated the homebound with homemade goodies at Christmas, and shared great gardening tips with one another.

Members would like to see this entity continue in the community. Therefore, members are calling out to local gardeners, whether they are seasoned or beginners, to carry on this long-standing endeavor.

The club traditionally met on the first Tuesday afternoon of the month at 1 p.m. But the time and date could be changed to accommodate interested gardeners. If you are interested in being a part of the local garden club, please call/text Roxanna at 417-260-1719 or Janet at 417-260-0942.
