Houston Elementary School is proud to be a Project Lead The Way school. We started our journey during the 2016-2017 school year. Several of our teachers were excited about the opportunity and were eager to attend training at Missouri S&T in Rolla. We piloted the program during the second semester of that school year. PLTW has allowed our teachers to provide transformative learning experiences for our students. Through STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities, they engage every student in hands on activities that encourage them to solve real world problems, challenge their thinking, and collaborate together as a team.
