Celebration of life: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at Roberts Park Pavilion.

David “Bo” Clay Martin, 63, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019, at his home in Cabool.

He was born June 26, 1955, in Cabool, son of Herchel and Kathleen Tipton Martin.

He was a truck driver for many years before going into the grocery store business. He and his wife, Patsy, owned and operated B&P Grocery for several years.

He loved to go to the races and enjoyed watching them on TV as well. He had many racing buddies. He proud to tell everyone he had 65 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herchel; a sister, Shirley Cox; a brother, Phillip Jones; and a granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Patsy Martin of the home; his mother, Kathleen Miller of Cabool; three brothers, Kenny Martin of Cabool, Kevin Martin of Highlandville and Marlin Martin of Springfield; two sisters, Gail Martin and Kelli Martin of Cabool; five children, Teresa Sand of Aurora, Robin Meadows of Petal, Miss., Tim Delcour of Aurora, Troy Delcour of Monett, and Donna Bolerjack of Salem; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.

A celebration of life is 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at Roberts Park Pavilion. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
