The Houston Police Department issued citations following three accidents. 

The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Adam P. Adams, 30, of 1230 W. Chestnut St. in Houston, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license after a traffic stop on Chestnut Street at about 1:30 a.m. March 29.

•Kasey A. Coffey, 40, of 15103 Piney Drive at Bucyrus, was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 2:50 p.m. March 29.

•Henry M. Dixon II, 45, of 503 King St. in Houston, was issued citations for driving without a valid license and failure to register a motor vehicle after a traffic stop at First and Pine streets at about 7:50 p.m. March 27.

•Dale V. Cooper, 25, of 8573 U.S. 63 in Houston, was cited for driving while revoked on March 21.

•Rebecca S. Fountain, 50, of 303 Broadway in Houston, was arrested March 26 for having an active Texas County felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance. An officer made the arrest at the probation and parole office in Houston after being advised that Fountain was there.

She was taken to jail and incarcerated without bond.

•Zachariah T. Sawyer, 20, of 674 Plainview Drive in Houston, was arrested March 26 for having an active Texas County warrant for felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon and two misdemeanor drug charges.

An officer made the arrest at the probation and parole office in Houston after being advised that Sawyer was there.

He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $100,000 bond.

On March 13, Sawyer was issued a citation for second-degree trespassing after an incident at a residence on South Oak Crest Drive.

An officer’s report indicated a 44-year-old man and 32-year-old woman reported that they were in their bedroom when they saw a tall man standing in the hallway of the home. They said they hadn’t heard a knock on the door or anyone enter.

The man stated he grabbed his pistol and pointed it at the alleged intruder, who just quietly stood still at first. The man said he approached the intruder at the gunpoint, and he slowly backed out of the residence and stated he thought he knew who lived there.

From a description provided by the couple, the officer believed the intruder was Sawyer. The officer showed them a photo of Sawyer and they said they were sure he was the intruder and that they wished to pursue charges.

Sawyer was later located at a Thomasville Road residence and repeated that he thought he knew who lived there.

•Angela D. Hicks, 39, of 10204 Business U.S. 60 in Mountain Grove, was arrested March 21 for having an active Wright County warrant of unreported nature. An officer made the arrest at the probation and parole office in Houston after being advised that Hicks was there.

She was taken to the Texas County Jail and later extradited to Wright County.

•Nekota S. Neal, 24, of 11804 Highway 32 at Roby, was cited on March 15 for driving without a valid license.

•Shawna J. Wade, 37, of 13210 Rock Creek Road at Plato, was cited on March 16 for failure to place a child in a child restraint device.
