The Houston High School Scholar Bowl team swept Owensville in a best two out-of-three matchup last Wednesday to advance in the state tournament. The Tigers won the first game 310-190 and second game 250-160.
One of eight teams remaining in Class 3, HHS will play Eldon, Hallsville and Palmyra on May 4 with the opportunity to advance to the semifinals. The top four teams will be decided by win-loss record and points scored in the three preliminary games.
