The Houston tennis team topped Mountain Grove, Licking and Salem to win the Salem Tournament on Wednesday.

Kyler Ramsey and Isaiah Buse won A Flight doubles with convincing wins against Mountain Grove (8-2), Licking (8-0) and Salem (8-2).

The Tigers also won the B Flight as Kyle Mills and Clayton Moore cruised to easy wins against Mountain Grove (8-2), Licking (8-0) and Salem (8-4).

In singles action, Elliot Clark placed third in the A Flight with an 8-1 win against Licking and two losses. Korbyn Tune was runner-up in the B Flight with 8-0 victories against Mountain Grove and Licking as well as a loss to Salem.

The flighted tournament required teams to place players in singles or doubles play.
