Texas County residents may learn today (Thursday) who received the most write-in votes for Texas County Health Department board.
Voters across the county traveled to the polls April 2 to elect officeholders for several boards.
There were no declared candidates for the two board member positions. Instead, 1,005 write-in entries were made on ballots.
County Clerk Laura Crowley has been away from her office and is expected to certify the results as early as today.Â
