Earnest Ray Stoops, 72, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at his home in Raymondville.
He was born Feb. 16, 1947, in Raymondville, son of Stanley and Georgia Smith Stoops.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Marvin Stoops.
Survivors include two sisters, Sharon Sullins of Licking and Glenadean Krieger of Raymondville; a brother, Chalmer Stoops of Raymondville; and several nieces and nephews.
No services are planned. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
