A spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the family of Mary Katherine Collins – who recently lost their house and belongings to a fire – is scheduled for noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, in the Texas County Fair Board’s exhibition building next to the livestock barns at the county fairgrounds on North U.S. 63.
The event is being sponsored by the Fair Board and New Beginnings Church. The meal will include salad, dessert and a drink, and attendees will pay by donation.
Money raised will be placed in a custodial fund overseen by the church.
